    (a) The Wood House - Room layout:
    Ground Floor (With Common balcony): 2 Bedrooms - EEN & SHAAHI,
    1 st floor (With Common balcony): 2 Bedrooms - SHYAL & KAKKAR, Living room,
    2 nd floor (no balcony): 1 Attic Suite - BRAAG and Library

    (b) The Stone House - Room layout:
    Ground Floor (With private balcony): 2 Bedrooms – MONAL and JAJJU, Living room, Dining room, Kitchen,
    1 st floor (With private balcony): 2 Bedrooms – KALESHA, CHENCHAL, TV / Playroom, Private office,
    2 nd floor (With private balcony): 2 Bedrooms: GARUDA, GILLAN, Private bedroom and Service room.
  • One can rent out complete house as well as individual rooms.
  • Room occupancy is 2 Adults per room
  • Standard check-in time is 2 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m.
  • We take bookings for minimum 2-night stay.
  • No Smoking in the bedrooms and toilets.
  • There are 52 easy steps to climb up to The Wood House. And additional 30 steps to The Stone House. One can also walk additional 30 steps to The Stone House. One can also walk
  • Only morning Masala Tea / Coffee is complementary. Any other beverage like Cold Coffee, Milk, Fresh Lime etc ordered in the morning as well as during the breakfast is chargeable as per the menu rates
  • Accommodation for maids and drivers can be arranged at extra cost. Kindly inform us well in advance.
  • Taxi’s can be arranged for pick up from Aut and sight seeing.
  • Drive carefully, wait at the bends for the cars climbing up to pass and give pass to faster cars
  • The Wood House is not sound proof. We advise one to be cautious towards other fellow travellers and stick to low decibels. And if one is very particular about sound from other rooms- the rooms in The Stone house should be opted
  • No Loud music is permissible
  • We provide daily house keeping on request otherwise we change the linen every 3 rd day
  • Water at Kudrat is drawn from natural spring approx 10 Kms away. There is enough for all of us however we advise you not to waste water and be responsible
  • We are pet friendly, however please inform us in advance about the pet details and if any special arrangements are to be made

  • We have a common bonfire pit available free of cost
  • We are on hillside and there is a plunge pool too, please don’t leave your kids unattended. Staff is not trained for the same
  • Payment mode is bank transfer / Cash / UPI
  • Any damage to the hotel property will be chargeable

How Long To Stay

Boutique Homestay
  • We recommend our guests to stay with us for at least 3 nights. However we take bookings for minimum 2 nights.
  • There is so much to see and do and that requires time. Guests who have travelled to this valley would understand what we mean.
  • From Fishing to village walks to trekking to catching up with books & family– one needs time.
  • We offer discounts to guests staying more then 7 days, please feel free to enquire.

Things To Carry

  • Light jacket for summers and heavy jacket for winters
  • Woolen socks and woolen cap for winters
  • Extra pair of socks during monsoons
  • You will be amazed with so much to click everywhere don’t forget to get a good camera.
  • Hiking Shoes or regular walking or running shoes. Avoid slippery shoes & heels
  • Binoculars for bird watching
  • Sunblock
  • Umbrellas
  • Torch
  • Raincoat during monsoons

If fishing is in your mind, please carry your rod, flies, spinners etc otherwise you will have to rent from the vendors here. We don’t provide one.

If camping is in your itinerary, one needs to carry specific list of accessories and equipment. Pls. discuss with us before coming.
